Marisol
is a writer, musician and visual artist who grew up in San Antonio, Texas.
She has received grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, the National
Endowment for the Arts for a residency at the Women's Studio Workshop,
a performing arts grant from The Ford Foundation and exhibits her work
in the US & France.
Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York,
the Cleveland Museum of Art, Yale University, University of Texas in Austin
amongst others.
She is the author of "After you, dearest language" (Ugly Duckling
Presse- 2nd printing released June 2010!) and "First Space, Then
Structures" (nothing moments press) and was a co-founder/editor of
the newspaper New York Nights.
Marisol is currently working on a solo music project and an illustrated
novel. She lives in New York City.
