Marisol
is from San Antonio, Texas. She now lives in New York City. She has received
grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, the National Endowment for
the Arts, a performing arts grant from The Ford Foundation and exhibits
her work in the US & France.
Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York,
the Cleveland Museum of Art, Yale University, University of Texas in Austin
amongst others.
She is a former collaborator with Ugly Duckling Presse & Loudmouth
Collective and was a co-founder/editor of the newspaper New York Nights.
Marisol currently plays piano with singer/songwriter Scott Matthew. The
debut album tour will begin in March in Europe.
She is also working on a new book of writing and pictures that she will
complete in Spain this summer.
